This Privacy Policy describes how Rosaven collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application. We are committed to keeping your data safe and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
Rosaven collects minimal personal information:
- Anonymous Account ID: When you first open the app, we assign a random, anonymous identifier. No email, phone number, or personal identity is required to use Rosaven.
- Match & Pair Data: Outfit colors you select, harmony modes, undertone preferences, saved Harmony Cards, coordination checklists, and saved Outfit↔Makeup Pairs are stored so the app can provide and reuse your color guidance.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated data about how you use the app, such as which features you use and general interaction patterns. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
- Photos You Choose (optional): Only photos you explicitly select are processed — for example, to sample outfit colors. We never access your camera roll automatically. With your permission, we may access your device camera to take a photo or select one from your library.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide outfit-driven Harmony Cards, coordination checklists, saved Pairs, and account preferences.
- Process App Store purchases and maintain your credit balance.
- Improve color guidance quality, fix bugs, and understand feature usage in aggregate.
- Respond to support requests when you contact us.
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not build facial recognition profiles or biometric identity templates.
- We do not identify or verify individual identities from photos.
- We do not share your photos with third parties for advertising purposes.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not track your location.
4. Optional Photos & Camera
When you choose a photo for an optional feature (such as outfit color sampling), the photo is processed only for that feature. Here's what you should know:
- Photos are processed securely and used solely for the feature you requested.
- We do not create, store, or transmit facial recognition templates, biometric data, or face maps.
- On-device analysis, where supported, does not build identity profiles.
- Any associated images are linked to your anonymous account ID — not to any personal identity.
- You can delete saved content at any time within the app where available.
5. Where Data Is Stored
- App data such as profiles, match sessions, saved Pairs, and preferences is stored on secure cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We apply access controls so only systems that need the data can reach it.
6. In-App Purchases
Rosaven offers optional in-app purchases for credits used to unlock color coordination sessions. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a transaction confirmation — we never see or store your full payment card details.
7. Analytics
We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand general app usage patterns and improve your experience. This includes crash reports and session counts. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
8. Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store: Handles in-app purchase payments.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Provides secure storage for your match data, Pairs, preferences, and app configuration.
- Analytics & Attribution: Aggregated install and campaign measurement where enabled.
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy.
9. Data Retention
- Your match history, saved Pairs, and preferences remain stored as long as your account exists.
- You can delete individual Pairs or match entries at any time within the app where available.
- If you delete your account or request deletion, your anonymous data will be removed in accordance with our retention schedule.
10. Your Rights
- You may update preferences anytime in the Me tab.
- You may delete saved Pairs and match history within the app where available.
- You may request deletion of all your data by contacting us.
11. Children's Privacy
Rosaven is intended for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 12.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of Rosaven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
